Control mosquitoes biologically with Mosquito Bits. This 30oz. jar contains bacillus thuringensis, which is consumed by mosquito larvae and kills them before they can transmit mosquito born dieseases such as West Nile Virus and Encephalitis. Use Mosquito Bits in areas where mosquito larvae can be found, such as: ponds, bird baths, unused swimming pools, flower pots, rain barrels, old tires, animal watering troughs, or other areas where standing water is found. Safe to use around humans, pet's and wildlife. Mosquito Bits are granular and provide acces if the water source is especially tight (e.g. through a fine meshed grate or very dense weeds).

How it Works
This product is a highly selective microbial insecticide effective against mosquitoes in a variety of habitats. When spread over the surface the bits release a biological mosquito larvacide at the water's surface. It gradually settles in the water where it is eaten by the larvae growing there. It may be used in all types of standing water sites where mosquito larvae grow. The bits will give a quick kill within 24 hours.

Directions for use
One teaspoon per 25 sq.ft., one tablespoon per 75 sq.ft, or 1/2 lb for 2178 sq.ft. and the bits will give a quick kill within 24 hours. Mosquito Bits should be applied uniformly. A seven to fourteen interval between applications should be employed.
